The Hunger Games (2012)
Technically, I watched the new movie first, but since I have a lot to say about this one, I'll start with it. It's extremely mediocre. The idea itself is actually quite cool, and there are even a few games with a similar concept that I enjoy. However, the execution is plain, boring, and unintelligent. It's also painfully slow; the two-hour runtime is absolutely dull throughout. I've heard that the book explains many things I dislike about this, which is a positive aspect.

The Hunger Games: The Ballard of Songbirds & Snakes (2023)
This work fell short in almost every aspect. However, I'll begin with the positives because there aren't many. I actually enjoyed the main character; his decisions weren't god-awful and made at least a tiny bit of sense, which is commendable. Unfortunately, all the other characters in this movie are incredibly foolish, and every decision they make is just plain stupid. The main friend engages in nonsensical behavior throughout the entire movie; at times, I thought it was a joke. As for the main girl, aside from the fact that the song annoyed the heck out of me, she seemed to completely abandon all reason in the third act. Who writes these poorly developed characters? The excuse of "they're dumb because they're teens" doesn't hold up—it's just bad and unintelligent writing.
But my main gripe is that this shouldn't be a movie but rather a TV show; it feels rushed and undeveloped simultaneously. I yearn for more time devoted to world-building and for the characters to exhibit some semblance of sense in their foolish decisions.

The Lighthouse (2019)
Good movie? Yes! But absolutely not my type and I didn’t get into it almost at all.

The Room (2003)
Is this the worst movie ever? Yes Is this an enjoyable movie? FUCKING YES!
The story is shit, the acting is shit….everything in this movie is shit! But it’s so fun and hilarious and I smile on every single moment.
Johnny was supposed to turn into a vampire at the end of this movie and fly around San Francisco but they didn't do it cos the budget wouldn't allow it. I'm not even joking, that was actually supposed to happen.
