Looper (2012)

I like the idea and the overall premise is interesting. But wow this was a really dumb movie, any time travel movie obviously has a bunch of plot holes and such but this takes it to a whole new level. Bruce Willis cannot act, you can’t convince me otherwise, and Gordon-Levitt had quite possible the worst make up humanly imaginable.

Only watched this because it was nominated for an Oscar, is it good? Yeah kinda, I see why it was nominated and why people like it, but god damh is it fucking boring. The story did not connect at all with me.

Not surprised I didn’t like this, even with a one hour run period it manages to get boring, also children.

Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)

I feel like I’ll get in hot waters for this. Yes it’s a really good stop animation with some really funny jokes, but the story! I don’t care about it.

This was always my fear with Wes Anderson, that he is a style over substance kind of director, which honestly I didn’t want to attribute to him, but now I fully understand.

It’s a nice stylish movie but something that I won’t remember, because story is more important than graphics. Otherwise only movie I would ever remember is marvel garbage.

I, Tonya (2017)

One word, BORING. I was a bit scared that this would be another basic sports movie and to my surprise it wasn’t, it was quite competent and the fourth wall breaks felt justified, I can see the effort being put in.
