Anxious People (2021)
Very surface area observation, okayish to watch but very forgettable. Much like Netflix’s most shows.
⭐️⭐️
Dune: Part Two (2024)
Second watch, this time in Imax! I kind of understand people that dislike the length, I did notice some scenes being longer but I don’t know if it’s that big of an issue, I still think the movie is epic. LISAN AL GAIB was way funnier on a 2 watch, basically every scene gave me a chuckle. But regardless it is still a Sci-Fi masterpiece.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jodorowsky's Dune (2013)
So diving this into two. As cinema it is very good, I surprisingly liked the documentary style and Jodorowsky was a really funny presenter, he kind of carried it. I got insanely annoyed by some presenters though, especially cowboy hat person. Genuinely fucking garbage takes on everything.
But about Jodorowsky’s version of Dune….it would be shit! Like there’s a lot of weird parts and whatever, but it’s visible that it’s way out there. I do think it influenced cinema, but not from director point of you but from an artist point of view.
Also Jodorowsky’s “ego” was shining heavily in this movie, it’s annoying and hilarious and annoying.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Leave the World Behind (2023)
This is very similar to “Don’t Look Up”, I fucking hate “Don’t Look Up” the story is annoying af.

Dune (1984)
I kind of…loved this? It’s in the realm of this is so bad that it’s funny. Comparing this Villeneuve version is quite easy. The style of this is nowhere near, this one looks funny and non serious, Baron was so fucking hilarious. It’s also too quick for it’s own good, it combines a lot of book into one, feels rushed in many places. While Villeneuve version is quite slow, but it gives epic vibes.
