Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood (2022)
I really liked the animation style, was quite unique and I’ve never seen something like this. Some of the shots are really cool as well. The score is also nice I quite like the music used. But the man issue is mostly the story, the main arc is not used almost at all and really feels like an excuse for the main idea of the plot, how people lived and experienced the moon landing in the 60s. Which was very well implemented I enjoyed it, but I didn’t get much out of it.

Dunkirk (2017)
Fantastic cinematography and score. Everything else? Eh.... the characters are meh the entire story is very weirdly structured for no real reason. The ending is not that great, basically a Nolan movie which is good in the moment but which I forget 5 minutes after watching.

A Sun (2019)
This is one of those good long Asian movies, it’s very long and quite slow. Sometimes too slow, it drags at a few parts, the story is quite interesting though especially the ending. Cinematography and score was quite good...and that’s it? Someone might love this movie or hate it, but in the end I didn’t care about the story that much.

Last Night in Soho (2021)
Edgar Wright! I was expecting something bit weird and out there and it’s exactly what I got. This was really fun to watch, a bit obvious at point but still there some parts which were surprising. It’s just fun to watch! The story is interesting and the score and especially cinematography keep up very well. And I think a lot of this movie is made by Thomasin McKenzie who absolutely carriers some scenes. Great watch!

The Souvenir Part II (2021)
You can sense that this is a very personal story for Joanna Hogg who is the director of movie, and is a direct continuation of The Souvenir, and I honestly like I didn’t get this movie. Which is different to the first souvenir which I quite enjoyed. This deals with grief in a different matter and the one I didn’t have the chance to experience, and a lot of the movies has parts of filming the movie and some parts are never talked about? It’s a bit strange and while I’m sure someone can find the sense of this movie for them self I did not. Richard Ayoade was fantastic in this movie, loved him.
